She Leads 2nd Edition: When Martech Meets Authentic Leadership

March 24, 2026

It's hard to put into words the echo of the energy we experienced last week at The Vintage Lisbon. It was with immense pride that JMR Digital opened its doors for the 2nd edition of She Leads — a gathering born with a very clear purpose: to debate the future of technology and data through the lens of female leadership.

What we envisioned as a networking platform transformed, almost without us noticing, into a true community. A closed-door room where there was no space for corporate scripts, but rather for raw conversations, the sharing of real challenges, and a sharp focus on the future of our industry.

The Key Takeaways from Our Panel

As an agency focused on implementing digital and Martech solutions, at JMR Digital we know that technology doesn't operate in a vacuum. It needs people. That was precisely the premise we brought to the moderation of an outstanding panel, made up of leaders we deeply admire: Prof. Carla Ganito (Universidade Católica Portuguesa), Nilza Rodrigues (Forbes Portugal and Board Member of Women in Tech), Carolina Afonso (Director of APPM), Lynda Lourenço e Faro (Digital Marketing Manager at Sogrape), Aija Dombrovska (Partner Manager at Neoday), and Eline de Weerdt (Account Manager at Deployteq).

Throughout the afternoon, we explored the challenges of artificial intelligence alongside team management. Here are three key reflections we brought away from the stage:

  • The "Likability Dilemma": The tech and marketing sector demands fast, incisive decision-making. We debated the urgency of breaking the invisible patterns that dictate assertiveness in female leadership is seen as a flaw — when it should be celebrated as an essential skill.
  • AutomateHER and the Human Strategy: Automation and Artificial Intelligence didn't come to replace empathy. On the contrary: Martech tools are there to free us from the operational burden, giving leaders the time they need to be more human with their teams and clients.
  • The Power of Unified Data: We were joined by our international partners from Deployteq and Neoday, who presented their latest European Benchmark. The data was clear: brands that don't unify their information will lose ground. It is precisely in this integration that JMR Digital continues to support its clients, ensuring technology keeps pace with business vision.

The True Meaning of "True Sharing"

If the stage brought the business vision, it was the audience that brought the soul of the event. The impact of what we experienced that afternoon was perfectly summed up in the words of our speaker Nilza Rodrigues:

"Hearing the stories of real women at these gatherings moves me. Because they share a feeling and have an audience that embraces and even advises them. And this is… true sharing." — Nilza Rodrigues, Director, Forbes Portugal

The future is led by women. And at JMR Digital, we will continue to build the spaces, strategies, and technological infrastructures to ensure that the leaders of today and tomorrow have all the tools they need to grow.

Thank you to all the partners, speakers, and participants for helping bring this community to life. We're just getting started.
